The design-build expansion and renovation of Terminal 2 at San Diego International Airport added 400,000 square feet of public and nonpublic space, and provided access to ten additional contact aircraft gates.

This project included relocating the existing FIS facility from Terminal 2 East to Terminal 2 West by repurposing six existing aircraft gates into independent swing gates. The three-story terminal includes passenger circulation, airline check-in and ticket lobby, security screening, baggage handling and waiting areas, seating areas, concessions, restrooms, office spaces, and other related service and support areas.
